Overview Ogden F. Monahan was raised in Tonopah, Nevada and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nevada in 1924. He was a fullback on the football team, a member of the basketball team, and senior class president. The collection includes programs, photographs, and other ephemera of football games, dances, and other university events; yearbooks and other university publications; and grade reports, certificates, and miscelleanous personal papers.

Abstract Dr. John O. Moseley (1893-1955), of Texas, received his B. A. degree from Austin College in Sherman, Texas, and later attended Oxford University. He received an honorary LL.D. degree from Austin College. Moseley was appointed president of the University of Nevada in 1945, and served in that capacity until he resigned in 1949.
