The Lake Tahoe Area Council (LTAC) was a private, non-profit, non-political organization established in 1958 to seek cooperation between private land owners at Lake Tahoe, California and Nevada, and government agencies in solving Tahoe Basin problems of planning, land use, park and recreational development, pollution control, and soil convervation.
