The Nevada branch of the American Civil Liberties Union was organized in 1966 although there were individuals in the state who were active in the national organization during the 1920s and 1930s. Included are minutes of the northern Nevada chapter, southern Nevada chapter, and state board meetings; administrative and issues correspondence; bylaws; organizational history; membership statistics; complaints and litigation files; subject files; and newspaper clippings.
The Board of Regents is responsible for the governance of the institutions comprising the University and Community College System of Nevada. The Board meets regularly and has additional committee meetings. All regular and committee meetings are open to the public. The collection consists of newspaper clippings related to the University of Nevada, Reno and the University and Community College System of Nevada (UCCSN).
Collection includes original blueprints and drawings of remodeling work for various University buildings during the twentieth century.
The office of the Chancellor was created in 1968, with the position serving as main administrative coordinator for the Board of Regents. Collection consists of computing system files which include information on vendors, reviews of personal computers, and systems.
