Abstract
John White was a Nevada miner, founder, and secretary of the Mother Lampkins Mining Company, Gold Hill, Nevada. 1 page letter from John (Jack) White to Mr. C. Talbot on February 25, 1864 regarding the revival of the Mother Lampkins Mining Claim in Gold Hill, Nevada, stating that Mr. True Locke represents Talbot's interests, and that the claim was "got up for the purpose of catching this excitement on American Flat." The verso contains Talbot's response.
