Abstract
Benjamin B. Thayer's company was organized to develop a mining technology or chemical compound called Thayer's Process. This collection includes two letters between 1860-1861 and articles of agreement: a letter to Theodore Winter from W.A. Gaston describes a steam engine and its operation. Another letter to B. B. Abstract
Mosheimer was Nevada Territory's delegate to the International Exhibition held in London in 1862. Official report to governor James W. Nye describing Mosheimer's difficulties in gaining official acceptance at the exhibition, establishment of an exhibit of ores from the territory, winning of a grand prize medal, and general observations about the fair.
