Abstract Kappa Lambda was a local fraternity founded at the University of Nevada on October 1, 1921. In 1928, Kappa Lambda submitted a petition for charter to the national fraternity Lambda Chi Alpha. The Nevada Epsilon Iota Chapter was established at the Reno, Nevada, campus in 1929.
