Abstract This collections contains records of the Agricultural Experiment Station and agricultural issues. The majority of the collection is Experiment Station material. Included are annual reports, 1925-1949, and discontinued projects, 1953 - 1966. These records document the progress and results of various projects, the results of the research, and publication.
Abstract Report recommending that the President of the U.S. and the Secretary of the Interior be given authority to negotiate turning over to appropriate states all unappropriated, unreserved land in fee simple.

Abstract Alfred Merritt Smith, 1876-1968, received both his Bachelors and Masters in Mining Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno. He served as Nevada State Engineer from 1935-1952, was an administrative assistant to Senator George Malone (1952-1960), served on the Colorado River Commission, Atomic Power Utilization Committee (1952-1959), and served on various committees regarding water in Nevada and California.
