J. A. Johnson and Chauncey N. Noteware operated as wood agents at Lake Tahoe (Nevada), receiving wood from lumberjacks and making arrangements to ship it down to mills in western Nevada. Contains statements of wood received from barges and delivery notices include names of transporters and amount of timber barged from 1882.
