Overview Charles Greenhaw was a graduate student at the University of Nevada, Reno, in the late 1960s. He was an assistant professor of English in Arkansas, an English instructor at Elko Community College in 1970, and commuted to Owyhee to teach English to Native Americans. He was affiliated with the Elko community college until 1991. The collection consists of Greenhaw's unpublished manuscript about the history of community colleges in Nevada called People's Colleges.

Abstract Patricia K. Miltenberg was Vice President for Student Services of the University of Nevada, Reno, and a former member of the boards of directors of the Food Bank of Northern Nevada and the United Way of Northern Nevada. Included are articles of incorporation, minutes, correspondence, newsletters, and financial records for Food Bank of Northern Nevada; and minutes, correspondence, financial records, and publications of the United Way of Northern Nevada.
