Collection contains materials collected by Robert Harmon about Lake Tahoe including materials from his grandmother, Edith Jewell who owned Jewell Heights, a resort at Bijou, Lake Tahoe, California. Stationary and miniatures included were on display in the gift shop at the resort. The 1892 travel description of Lake Tahoe was written by Laura Brown, who was the daughter of the pioneer Charles Brown of the Brown-Damonte Ranch as well as the aunt of the donor.
