Scope and Contents

Series 2, Subseries 1, Sub-subseries 6 consists of press coverage relating to Goin's 2000 book, A Doubtful River, co-authored with Robert Dawson and Mary Webb, and winner of the Wilbur S. Shepperson Award. The work focused on the Truckee River watershed as a case study of sustainability and water use issues in the American West. The majority of materials relating to A Doubtful River are held at the University of Arizona's Center for Creative Photography's Water in the West Archive. Materials held at the University of Nevada, Reno include publication photographs, negatives, and a folder of book reviews, articles, and other press coverage of the project that was separated from a general "Critics and Book Reviews" box. Other related materials are found within Sub-subseries 13, Water in the West.
