Series 4: Metrication Study, 1978-1983
Scope and Contents
In 1978, the Western Snow Conference began a study of metric snow sampling equipment which resulted in the publication of Metrication of Manual Snow Sampling Equipment in 1984. The material in Series 4 contains original working papers relating to the metrication study. Included are metric tests, procedures and results; reports; correspondence; drafts; photographs; drawings; and diagrams from 1978-1983.
