Scope and Contents
Report prepared for the Nevada Department of Conservation and Natural Resources was based on recommendations of the Outdoor Recreation Resources Review Commission established by Congress in 1958. The report was required because Nevada was endeavoring to acquire privately owned sectors of Lake Tahoe lake-front and mountain property for incorporation into the state park system.,Also included is a multiple use management plan and maps for national forest lands in the Tahoe basin.
