Includes clippings from newspapers and other print media on issues related to national forests, public lands, and enforcement of applicable laws and regulations in Nevada. Also includes articles on related issues such as "The Company" drug case (interstate drug and marijuana production organization based in Sparks, Nevada, with some operations on Forest Service lands), 1987; a mass gathering of the Rainbow Family of Living Light in Elko County, Nevada, 1989; conflicts over land use policies for Forest Service lands; and violence against Forest Service lands and personnel, including bombing of the Carson City office in 1995.
