Scope and Contents

This was a report to the Upper-Humboldt River Water Storage Committee to provide information regarding the economic feasibility of implementing the Army Engineers' proposed flood control and irrigation project of 1948 which was authorized by the Flood Control Act of 1950. Included is a summary of the Engineers' report, analysis of costs and benefits, possible sources of funds to pay the local share of the project, and appraisal of the proposed project.
