Scope and Contents
High school graduation announcements, programs and community event programs, and high school dance programs. Locations include high schools and activities in Reno, Virginia City, Eureka, White Pine and Dayton, from 1881-1914. White Pine High School commencement announcement includes two student cards. Some of the dance cards are handmade, some undated with unknown locations, and two with pencils attached.

Leon W. Hartman was Chair of the Appointments Committee at the University of Nevada, Reno; also chair of the Physics Department and President of the University, 1939-1943.

Arranged into two series: 1. Graduation and program announcements; 2. Dance programs.

Donated by unknown source circa 1975.
Former Series 1: Correspondence to Hartman from the high school principals of Nevada (letters were in response to a survey requesting names of teachers and courses taught in the state's high schools; Approx. 26 letters with attachments in 1 folder) has been transferred to University Archives as an addition to Archives collection AC 0612.
