Administrative History
American Flat Development Company was a Nevada company incorporated in 1897 to drain and develop mines in the American Flat region near Virginia City through a tunnel connecting with the Sutro Tunnel. Officers were H.M. Yerington, J.W. Eckley, J.A. Yerington, and William E. Sharon.
