Letterpress copy book of letters from Graves to George R. Spinney and S.P. Dewey who were officers and stockholders in a mine which was not named. The letters contain progress reports, news of organization meetings of a miners union (probably the Gold Hill Miners' Union no. 54), labor unrest, negotiations for wages; joint shaft developments; and economic conditions.
