Administrative History

The Bowers Mansion Association was organized in 1945 to purchase and restore Bowers Mansion in Washoe Valley, Nevada, once home of Sandy and Eilley Orrum Bowers. The Bowers Mansion Restoration Group was an off-shoot of the Association the Group's function was to accept or reject gifts of furniture and decorative objects and acquire items which would enhance the mansion.
