Abstract

Patricia D. Cafferata was a Nevada attorney and politician. Collection contains materials relating to Cafferata's campaigns from 1986-1996; materials from her time in office including badges, name tags, etc.; attorney files (Reno Train Trench [2002], Coalition to End Prostitution [2004], Mapes Hotel [ca.2000]); sesquicentennial materials, Esmeralda County DA materials; and Republican National Convention materials.

Patricia D. Cafferata was a Nevada attorney and politician; elected to the Nevada State Assembly in 1980 and first woman elected Nevada State Treasurer (1982). She also ran for State Treasurer in 1978, governor in 1986, and Lyon County District Attorney in 1990
