Administrative History

Incorporated November 20, 1916 in Nevada, the Red Hill Florence Mining Company owned five claims over 70 acres in the Goldfield Mining District. It was a consolidation of the Red Hill Mining, Florence American Mining, and Florence Extension Mining companies. It adjoined the Florence Goldfield on the south and west. Ore contained gold, silver, and copper, and occurred in a quartz vein in andesite. The company also leased a block of ground at a depth of 430 feet to 650 feet in the Florence Goldfield Mine, immediately beneath the rich ore mined by the Reorganized Cracker Jack.
