Historical Note
In November 1952, Iris Blaisdell and her mother traveled to the Palomino Guest Ranch in Reno, Nevada from New York City in order for her mother to obtain a divorce from her father. They spent four months at the Ranch, a time Iris fondly recalls in her recollections. They returned to New York City in February 1953.
