Fighting the Fire Fiend: Volunteer Fireman Fred and Jacob Kline, Virginia City, Nevada, 1866-1942 contains a short history of the firefighting careers of the Kline Brothers on the Comstock Lode. It was prepared for the Kline Family Gathering and Fireman's Muster in Virginia City, Nevada on July 15-17, 2011. It is taken from Morrill's Harnessing the Comstock, a longer, unfinished publication about the siblings Fred, Jacob, and Mary Kline and their families in Virginia City, Nevada from 1866-1942.
