Biographical Note
Miriam Evans Richardson was born in West Liberty, Iowa in 1892 to Mell Wright and Frank Algernon Evans. Her mother, Mell, was the daughter of William Wright, better known as Dan De Quille. De Quille is most well-known for his book The Big Bonanza (1876) about the famous Comstock Lode in Nevada.
A life-long resident of Iowa, Miriam married Thomas Allan Richardson on June 21, 1916 in West Liberty, Iowa. They had two children, Eloise and T. R. In 1968, Miriam passed away.
