Biographical / Historical

The Tonopah Gold Mountain Mining Company was incorporated on July 18, 1902, under the laws of Arizona. Offices were located in Tonopah, Nevada. George Wingfield (1876-1959) was a Nevada businessman heavily involved in banking and mining. He was president of the Tonopah Gold Mountain as well as a number of other mining operations in Tonopah and later Goldfield Mining Districts.
