Administrative History

The County Fiscal Officers Association of Nevada was founded on April 27, 1946 in Reno, Nevada. The purpose was to improve operations of county governments in Nevada; to extend adequate procedures for accounting, budgeting and financial reporting by county governments; and to bring about the training of qualified public officials and employees. Current objectives include involvement in passage of laws pertaining to the administration and duties of all members and providing opportunities to exchange ideas.
