The Carrie Smith Forestry Collection consists of materials that Carrie Smith collected while working for the Truckee Ranger District. This collection contains materials related to the US Forest Service, Tahoe National Forest, Truckee, Donner, and Tahoe. The majority of the materials in this collection pertain to the protection and management of forest resources in Truckee and the Tahoe National Forest. This collection also reflects Smith’s interest in archaeology and cultural resource management.
