Jim Jeffress Papers
Scope and Contents
The Jim Jeffress Papers includes ten recollections from Jeffress' time working at the Nevada Department of Wildlife from 1971-2003. Eight of these documents were created while he was assisting Fred Wright with parts of the NDOW history he was writing. These documents complement that history or may be part of it but have been updated. Some materials are original recollections.
Topics include working with Bighorn sheep; an aircraft crash; wildlife trapping and transporting; a helicopter crash; Nevada water rights; using aircraft for wildlife management; the placing of a Sheldon 50th history plaque; and the donor's career chronology.
