Higginbotham Papers contains materials collected by Higginbotham documenting the history of Nevada, including a report on Whipple Cave, Nye County (1925); two Nevada community newspapers, The Roundup (Owyhee, 1951) and The Toiyabe (Manhattan High School, 1937); code of cooperation between the Nevada State Medical Association...and Washoe County news media (undated); excerpts from addresses of William T. McSworley, Jr. and Don Baldwin before the Nevada State Federation of Labor convention (1952); list of Nevada manufacturers (1944); Boys' State Newsletter and list of staff (1960); and notebook on proposed Silver State Sweepstakes (Nevada lottery), 1965.
