Wood, Academic Vice President of the University of Nevada-Reno in an effort to have part of the Snake Range in eastern Nevada declared a national park (eventually, Great Basin National Park). Included are correspondence from Wood, Darwin Lambert, and others; reports and testimony; Great Basin National Park Association Newsletters; alternatives workbook and responses; published articles and brochures; and a report by the Sierra Club, Results of field investigations for proposed Great Basin National Park, Nevada 1959.
