Administrative History

Part of the Middle Mines of the Comstock Lode, Nevada, located in 1859, incorporated and in operation in 1860. In 1864 the company absorbed the North Potosi and Seneca mining claims as a result of a lawsuit; in 1876 they began joint operation of a shaft with the Best and Belcher Mining Company. Gould & Curry was part of an 1895 merger of Comstock companies into the Brunswick Exploration Company; in 1922 they became part of the Comstock Merger Mines, Incorporation.
