Scope and Contents
Three letters with covers written to Caroline Wenzel who lived in Sacramento, California, as Berlin was completing the writing and publication of her novel, Silver Platter, based on the life of her grandmother, Louise Hungerford Mackay. The letters are dated 7 April 1956, 23 May 1956, and 24 May 1957. Wenzel was head of the California Room at the California State Library and assisted her with research.
