Chester Horace Smith(1919-2005) was a former Nevada newspaper editor and veteran of state and congressional politics. Consists of materials related to the "Salute to Nevada's Outstanding Women of the Century" event, sponsored by the Nevada State Society of Washington, D.C. and held in November, 1973. Honored were Eva B. Adams, Helen Delich Bentley, and Patricia (Pat) Nixon. Included are clippings, articles, programs, photos, and a biographical sketch of Chester H. Smith.
