Hunt gave 28 March 1935 to University of Nevada, Reno, faculty and members of the Crucible Club, a club for student mining engineers. The speech, entitled "Aspects of physical geography in relation to ore deposits," promotes his Rio Tinto company and includes a hand drawn map of the area around the Rio Tinto Copper Mine and Mountain City Mining District, Elko County, Nevada.
