The Frances Shellenberger Reminiscences contains one set of recollections from Frances Shellenberger, titled "A Few Things I Remember". In it, she describes her Mormon parents' emigration from England to Utah, father's work in pioneer Utah, childhood in a Mormon family, move to Lund and Preston, Nevada in about 1898 with a Mormon colonizing group, marriage to Walter Shellenberger in 1903, married life in the mining town of Ruth and in Ely, ranching in the Snake Valley, raising ten children, and involvement in Mormon church activities. A brief genealogical chart is included.

Biographical Note

Frances Shellenberger was born in 1884, to two Mormon emmigrants from England and grew up in Utah during the late 19th century. She moved to Lund and Preston Nevada around 1898 and in 1903 married Walter Shellenberger. She and Walter had ten children. During her life she lived in Ruth, Ely, and worked on a ranch in Snake Valley. She was also involved in the activities of the Mormons in the region.
