Scope and Contents

This report includes an historical sketch of the Comstock Lode at Virginia City, Nevada; production history of the Consolidated Virginia Mine; geology; previous exploration; and opportunities for exploration. Accompanying the report are original maps compiled by Kendall showing underground workings of the Consolidated Virginia, California, Ophir, and Mexican claims, and a map of the Consolidated Virginia 500 level in relation to the Ophir and Big Bonanza veins.
