Account book of Nelson Brobant
The volume includes entries from November 14, 1859 to February 4, 1860 for daily transactions made to repair tools for Comstock Lode miners. Brobant's business was most likely located in or around Gold Hill, N. T. Entries, made mainly in pencil, list the name of the person for whom he did the repair, usually by surname, the work done, and the charge. Most often entries are for pick sharpening for which the charge was 38 cents each.
