Scope and Contents
Unpublished ms, informally known as the Schrader report, on the geology of the Carson Sink region of Nevada (Churchill and Pershing Counties), prepared from field work undertaken between 1911-1921. Includes a discussion on the geology of the general area and of specific districts and mines: Wonder, Fairview, Rawhide, and Gabbs Valley; maps and photographs of those areas and specific mines; microphotographs of thin sections of ore samples from various mines; and technical drawings of some mines. A bound copy of what may be a draft of the narrative report was placed with the collection in 2004. All items were transferred from DeLaMare Library, University of Nevada, Reno.
