The Economic Use and Administration of Range Resources of Northeastern Nevada contains sections of a major report prepared largely by Marion Clawson, Cruz Venstrom and Clawson, and T. Dean Phinney for the cooperating agencies of the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, U.S. Dept. of the Interior, Farm Credit Administration, and the Agricultural Experimental Service of the University of Nevada. Each section includes reports of surveys, tables of data, and analysis; and discusses climate, cattle and sheep ranching, rangelands, forest management, and economic conditions in Nevada.

Variations of "cycles" in climatic and economic conditions; Part VIII. History of Forest Service policy and past and present administrative procedure on National Forest range lands in northeastern Nevada.
