Scope and Contents From the Collection: Collection contains one letter written by Al Livingston to the Bullion and Exchange Bank, Carson City on May 10, 1902 stating that Livingston has given Harry Corbett, brother of former heavyweight champion Jim Corbett, a check for $1,000 for a glove contest to take place in Nevada that following July. It is unknown who the intended boxers were or specifically where they fight was to take place.

The unsigned sheet contains small vignettes depicting Henry C. J. Evans and his family drawn in pen. In an accompanying letter written in 1994 by Henry, he explains the history of his cousin, Henry "Harry" C. J. Evans, his relationship to Will James, and a short history of the illustration itself. The original invoice for framing and conserving the illustration, correspondence with Don Frazier...
