Correspondence, 1872 April 24
The James Redpath Correspondence contains a letter from Redpath to Mark Twain describing the sales and popularity of Twain's book Roughing It. Redpath mentions that a paper collar has been named for Twain, as well as a fast horse and asks "what more is there in life for you?" Twain evidently forwarded the letter to his publisher with a note to send Redpath a one-half morocco copy of the book; this letter was tipped into that book.
