The Administrative Manual contains established University policy and is intended to serve in understanding and implementing university policies, identifying responsibilities, and providing guidelines in the performance of specific tasks. Proposed policy and procedure revisions to the Administrative Manual that are approved by the Faculty Senate, Provost, and President are distributed to the University community.
The Administrative Manual was under the auspices of the Office of the President until the formation of the Administrative Manual Policy Review Board in 2001, which reports to the University Provost. Proposed revisions to the manual recommended for approval by the Board must also be recommended for approval by the Chair of the Faculty Senate and the Provost before being routed to the University President for approval.
