Faculty Salary Equity Committee Records

In Spring 1985, at the recommendation of the Executive Committee of the University of Nevada, Reno's Faculty Senate, the Vice President for Academic Affairs appointed a faculty committee to study salary inequities within the academic faculty. The committee conducted its study in the spring of 1986. The Salary Equity Appeals Committee submitted its final report on September 28, 1987. The second academic faculty salary equity study was initiated in December 1988 by a committee of faculty nominated by the Faculty Senate and appointed by the Vice President for Academic Affairs. An analysis report was submitted on April 9, 1990. The third academic faculty salary equity study was initiated in the spring of 1992 by a committee of faculty nominated by the Faculty Senate and appointed by the Vice President for Academic Affairs. An analysis report was submitted on November 23, 1993. The fourth academic faculty salary equity study was initiated in the spring of 2002 by a committee of faculty nominated by the Faculty Senate and appointed by the Interim Executive Vice President and Provost. Its analysis report was completed in early 2004.
