Administrative History

The Affirmative Action Compliance Committee was formed at the request of Harry J. Wolf, Director of Affirmative Action, to develop compliance procedures, data gathering and analysis. These included salary analysis, a locations analysis to examine race, sex, and national origin of each job title in each organizational unit within the university, and a promotion analysis. In 1975 it was merged, along with the Commission on the Status of Women and the Human Relations Commission to form the Equal Opportunity Committee (also known as the Equal Opportunity Board).
