Administrative History
The Affirmative Action Compliance Committee formed at the request of Harry J. Wolf, Director of Affirmative Action, to develop compliance procedures, and conduct data gathering and analysis. The committee's efforts included salary and promotion analysis. They also conducted a locations analysis to examine race, sex, and national origin of each job title in each organizational unit within the university. In 1975, the Affirmative Action Compliance Committee merged with the Commission on the Status of Women and the Human Relations Commission to form the Equal Opportunity Committee (also known as the Equal Opportunity Board).
