Scope and Contents
The Glenn D. Lewis Papers contains materials Lewis used in research for his dissertation, Physical Education Leaders at the University of Nevada, Reno: Eight Biographies, presented to the Department of Physical Education, Brigham Young University, Utah in 1979. It presents historical and biographical data on the individuals who served as heads of the Physical Education department from 1913-1975, and who influenced the physical education curriculum and the development of the facilities used on the Reno campus.
This collection contains the notes, photos, and correspondence Lewis obtained while writing his dissertation. Included are completed questionnaires he had distributed to former colleagues and students of the following:

Glenn D. Lewis received his doctor of education degree in 1979, from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah.
