This collection consists of three items donated by alumni of the fraternity Alpha Tau Omega, Delta Iota Chapter. There are two issues of the local publication "Sagehen" and an issue of the magazine "The Tau of Alpha Tau Omega."

Historical Note
Alpha Tau Omega was the first national fraternity founded after the Civil War. Delta Iota, the Nevada Chapter, was chartered in 1921. It began publication of "Sagehen" in the 1920s. Past Nevada Governor Grant Sawyer was a member of the fraternity. "The Tau of Alpha Tau Omega," a magazine for current student members of the fraternity. The group moved from its original house to 205 University Terrace in Reno in the late 1920s.
