Administrative History
The University Inn was built in 1967 by Prudential Life Insurance Company as one of 11 student housing projects on university campuses in Western states. The University of Nevada, Reno bought the property in 1978 and opened the rooms to visiting judges working with the National Judicial College and National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges. The building was closed for renovation in December 2007, to be re-opened in 2008 for student housing.
