Biographical / Historical
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), originally called the ElderCollege, was established at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2007 by Extended Studies with the mission "...enrich the lives of individuals aged 50 and older by providing a diverse array of educational programs, special and social events, outdoor activities, and opportunities for community engagement." In 2021, OLLI transferred administratively from Extended Studies to the Sanford Center for Aging.

Abstract
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), originally called the ElderCollege, was established at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2007 by Extended Studies with the mission "...enrich the lives of individuals aged 50 and older by providing a diverse array of educational programs, special and social events, outdoor activities, and opportunities for community engagement." In 2021, OLLI transferred administratively from Extended Studies to the Sanford Center for Aging. The collection contains a course catalog for 2011 and Lifescapes program memoirs.

Processing Information
This collection was processed by Jessica Maddox in November 2024. During processing, standard archival preservation measures were taken to ensure the longevity of the materials. This includes rehousing into appropriate acid-free containers and long-term preservation by digital services department.
