Melvin Brunetti served as a 9th Circuit Court of Appeals Judge beginning in 1985, and also acted as attorney to Paul Laxalt during Laxalt’s Nevada senatorial race in 1974. Former Gonzaga President and New College founder Reverend John P. Leary founded Old College in Reno, Nevada in 1980. In 1981, the Old College Board of Trustees founded the Nevada School of Law at Old College, but it never gained accreditation and closed in 1988 due to chronic financial instability. Collection includes committee minutes and agendas, class rosters, class descriptions, financial records, self-study materials, and records of forgery committed by an employee.
