Overview Nellie Beasley moved to Reno in 1937 and was a championship bowler as well as a participant in northern Nevada women's softball. She taught bowling at Reno Bowl and the Town and Country Bowl and was also a bowling instructor for University of Nevada and area high school students. Her husband, Dr. Bud L. Getchell Library Building Records

Overview The Getchell Library building served as the third home for the University of Nevada, Reno main library from 1961 until 2008. It was demolished in December 2013 to make room for the new Pennington Student Achievement Center. Abstract The Wolf Pack's first mascot was an anthropomorphized wolf named Wolfie, who retired in 1999. His nephew, Alphie, took over the duties of cheering in 1999.
